The last few months have been a rollercoaster of information and emotions as we've all tried our best to respond well to the COVID-19 pandemic. There are things we’re dealing with that we probably never expected to see in our lifetime. The economy has taken a large hit, people near to us have lost loved ones to the Coronavirus, and the majority of us have found the confines of our own home the extent of our freedom. Agape International Children’s Ministry (AICM) was birthed out of a strong desire to touch lives in Jesus’ name. We began taking teams to Uganda in 2002. For the first seven years, we ministered in schools, in sponsorship projects, deep in villages and in orphanages throughout the country. In 2009, we started ministering solely at a specific children's home in Bukerere called Agape Children’s Village (ACV). ACV is a home for vulnerable, abandoned and orphaned children in Uganda.

As we look back on 2019 we can’t help but celebrate all of the incredible things God did in the lives of the precious children in Uganda. 2019 will be a year marked by salvation, miracles, rescue, restoration and so many more God things. As I reflect on this past year, I want to bring a word of encouragement to your heart. I have been front and center watching how God has used you in ways that you will never even know. Some of those have been your letters to your children, your words of encouragement to me, the resources and finances that you have given to rescue the forgotten, and most importantly, your prayers for me and for the work that God has allowed us to do. At the close of this year, I stand more in awe of Him than I ever have before.

Together they are bringing the hope and love of Jesus through the Gospel to the surrounding community. Families are being changed. Boys and girls are being changed.
