From Farm to Table: Empowering Women Through Poultry Farming

The Agape Women's Poultry Training project is a life-changing initiative that is making a real difference in the lives of women in our community. The project aims to empower women with the skills and resources they need to start their own poultry farms and become self-sufficient. We are thrilled to announce that the second round of the project has begun, with an additional 100 women selected to participate.

The first group of 100 women graduated from the program last August, and their lives have been forever changed. With the comprehensive, hands-on training they received, they are now able to provide food for their families and pay for their children's school fees through the sale of eggs and meat. They have gained a new sense of independence and pride in their ability to provide for their families.

The success of the first cohort has been a testament to the effectiveness of the program. We are confident that we will have just as much success with the new group of 100 women. Over the course of the program, they will receive in-depth training on all aspects of poultry farming, from building a coop and caring for chickens to marketing and selling their products.

At the completion of the training, each woman will be gifted with five hens and a rooster to start their own poultry farm. This is a critical component of the program, as it provides the women with the resources they need to get started and sets them on the path to success.

The Agape Women's Poultry Training project is about much more than just farming. It is about empowering women, building community, and creating opportunities for long-term economic growth. By giving women the tools they need to start their own businesses, we are helping to break the cycle of poverty and create a brighter future for all.

We are incredibly excited to see what the future holds for these 100 new participants in the program. We know that their lives will be forever changed, and we can't wait to see the impact they will have on their families and communities. With each new cohort of women, we are building a stronger, more resilient community that is better equipped to face the challenges of the future.

For just $100 you can sponsor a woman in the Women’s Poultry Training Project. Your sponsorship will provide all of the essential training, materials, and chickens necessary for her to change her family's future. Will you sponsor one of these incredible women?
