Unwrapping Hope?

Through a partner of AICM, Ritah* is receiving livestock this Christmas. This is an unexpected gift for a child of ten, but one that is a literal unwrapping of hope. A pair of chickens means eggs, chicks, a way to make money for food, and a chance to learn about business. A cow means fresh milk, a source of protein and nourishment, and life experience in caring for an animal. She is unwrapping hope this Christmas.

Annah* is receiving a toy this Christmas. This is a normal gift for a child, but she is unwrapping more than cloth or metal, or plastic. She is learning she is loved. This Christmas she will understand better the love of Christ through a simple doll or teddy bear: someone sacrificing so she can receive. She is unwrapping hope this Christmas.

Joel* will receive a Bible this Christmas. For a boy who’s been in need for most of his life, the Bible will be a source of encouragement, joy, conviction, and love for all of the good and bad days ahead. He is unwrapping hope this Christmas.

Every gift in the AICM Christmas Store is brimming with hope. Whether they give comfort, food, clothing, a place to sleep, or a new hobby or delight, they are filled with the power of changing a child’s heart, body, and life.

A child in Uganda is waiting. Our hope is that every person reading this will give a gift this Christmas to a child in Uganda. You don’t need to be a sponsor to be a part of this endeavor! Every prayer, Christmas gift, and sponsorship means hope for a child in Uganda. We pray God blesses you abundantly as you choose to celebrate Christmas by giving the true gift of kindness, joy, and hope to these children.
